Sweet blog friends thank you for your encouragement. It daily amazes me as I read over your blogs, that the Lord has given me such a gift in you. He has created a wonderful community here and I am encouraged by each of your stories of strength and faith and love. We are now at 19 weeks, hoping for a call soon and praying for our future kids as they wait too!
Look at these two verses that blog friends have reminded me of....they explain well the mixture of emotions involved in adoption and the faith we must have during this waiting process.
Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief. Proverbs 14:13
At the time I have decided,
my words will come true.
You can trust what I say
about the future.
It may take a long time,
but keep on waiting--
it will happen! Hab 2:3

Hi - Natalie,
I wondering if you could email me personally - cjrperry@msn.com. I'd like to chat with you about the adoption group you guys in Dallas are forming. I'm not too far away, and there are several other folks I'd like to get involved. Thanks!
Carol
Checking in on you guys daily now for that referral! May it come soon!
love that scripture. Thanks for sharing! this waiting thing isn't natural for us... but boy does it refine us.
take care!

What did the poor guys do before before internet that were going through an international adoption?? I get so much encouragement and strength from my blogging buddies:)
Praying with and for you my friend.
I too check your blog daily for the great news, which has to be just around the corner! Can't wait to share the joy with you.
Blessings,
Debbie
I keep checking your blog, too, and waiting for my own cell phone to ring! Thanks for the scripture, looks another one I can add to my list of comforting words from the ONE WHO IS ABLE.
Take care,
Sharon
Well looky who's still hangin' in there with the rest of us "in waiting". :) Praying for you, dear sister!! ..... cannot wait to hear of the Lord revealing your sweet children. Blessings, Shelly
natalie....
the habbakuk scripture has always given me encouragement throughout this process, always hanging on to the last part of "it will happen!" i cannot wait to see what precious children the Lord has for your family (and mine!) Praying with you!
Wow, those verses are really something, especially the first. There's something similar about Lamentations about how God can bring grief to someone yet be compassionate at the same time. Kudos to you guys for accepting the full range of this weird experience. Thinking of you often.
Fournet Family,
I check your blog almost daily just praying for news of a referral!
What a sweet sweet family your new kiddos are coming in to!
Blessings!
Kristy
Thank you for sharing these verses...they are incredibly inspiring during the waiting time!
19 weeks! You're almost there!
