TRUST AND JOY

Like the verse in our heading above, I trust in the LORD and because of that I can have joy. Honestly, I am not happy every minute everyday, and I am not happy waiting for our children to come home:( But I am joyful when I am trusting in the LORD...and in His mercy He reminds me to do so everyday. Thanks to you all for your sweet comments online and in person...such valuable support!!!!

I can not put my trust or hope in a call from Gladney, but only in the power of the LORD. Though I will surely rejoice when that phone call comes!! But in the meantime we will wait and trust....."May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

And we can have that trust becasue we know the LORD knows our children...
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16

Thanks for such encouraging words! I know you write to encourage your own heart, too. I'm feeling frozen right now, unable to write much. I think I need to, though, just as an outlet. Hang in there!!!

Thank you for your words! During this wait, the only thing we can do is trust in Him and receive the true joy that comes only from Him! Your post was encouraging to me today! Many blessings!

Hey, do you have that devotional anywhere online? I'd love to read it (or at least the name of the book it's from?). Thanks!
